Last week I did receive an answer from HP and Sapphire, but that was about 5 days ago and haven't heard anything more.
From Dell, I'm still waiting an answer under the sponsorship program for a used or refurbished R820. Also wrote directly to Dell, but they haven't answered.
Just hope this comes through, at least a server and one GPU card.

Went ahead and bought two XFX R9 380X gpu's. Got them working on Primegrid and Collatz. Like these because they have the power connectors at the back (two 6 pin). They would work great in the 8 gpu server. Might get 6 more, about $1200. Maybe.
