No answer yet from Dell. I had spoken a couple of months ago with Michael Dell's secretary about the C6100, but she told me that they could not help me with that. It seems that Michael Dell doesn't have much to say in that Company. I was referred to another place and they told me that I should call the Michael Dell Foundation but they only give grants for children and not to individuals.
I had to buy the C6100 myself, but this M1000e is way to expensive for my budget. Just hopping that they have a demo unit or a banged up unit that works that they can donate. Got my candle lit for Saint Jude to help me with this!!
I'm just a simple guy that wants to help with the World Community Grid and finally find a cure for those illnesses that have caused so many deaths. I have five family members that have died because of Cancer. I am 54 years old and I know about cancer since I have memory. Is it not time that a cure be found? If a lot of more persons did what I am doing, contributing their spare computer cycles for this project called World Community Grid, who knows if a cure would have been found a couple of years ago.
I thank AMD, NVIDIA, MICRON, SUPER MICRO, HIGHSPEED PC, SILVERSTONE for donating what I have now to contribute with this project, specially AMD that didn't think about it twice to donate the first $5,000. Super Micro was another that did not wait to donate the motherboard and HIGHSPEED PC that told me that if I needed anything more, just to ask. These are GREAT companies that really give back to the community. NVIDIA, was so interested that several of their VP's emailed me that they were very interested in knowing how things went with the GTX Titans and the project.
